DANDRUFF AND HAIR FALL

Knowing your dandruff and treating it is one of the major hair fall solutions that you may have. Seborrheic dermatitis is comparatively severe form of dandruff. It causes the skin to become greasy with red patches and large white flakes of dead skins. The seborrheic dermatitis may also affect other body parts as in the case of dry skin dandruff. It affects those body parts which have lots of oil glands such as nose, armpit, crotch and chest.

 

Psoriasis is the other important cause of dandruff. The symptoms of psoriasis are similar to the seborrheic dermatitis with the difference that while in seborrheic dermatitis the flakes are white in psoriasis the flakes are found to be silvery.

 

Eczema affects many parts of the body and it may affect the scalp too. This medical condition is also manifested with dandruff.

 

Contact dermatitis is caused due to the use of various hair styling products such as hair dryers and chemical shampoos. The scalps of sensitive people become itchy due to the effects of such products and causes dandruff.

 

Malassezia is one kind of fungus which is normally found on the human scalp. This fungus feeds on the oils of the follicles. At times when the growth of the fungus is uncontrollable dead skins are found. The body immune mechanism fights with the fungi and the resultant action comes out as dead skins. The flakes caused due to this condition are quite large.

 

Finding the right hair fall solution against all the above infectious conditions is not easy. You may have to take the advice of medical practitioners and resort to medication. There are many home remedies for the above conditions which may also be tried. Varieties of oils such as tea tree oil, egg oil, olive oil, baby oil, white vinegar, aloe vera, fenugreek seeds, beet juice etc are suggested by many experts as the solution for the dandruff conditions.
